When I think of Christmas, I think of my grandma’s recipe for Holiday Chex Mix.
When I was younger we would snack on this every Christmas in the Black Hills. It’s crazy how something so small can bring back such great memories.
This recipe is da’ bomb.
Problem: It’s addictive so try and eat in moderation.
Here’s what you’ll need:
- 1/4 Cup margarine
- 5 tsp. worcestershire sauce
- 1 1/4 tsp. Laury’s seasoned salt
- 1/4 tsp. garlic powder
- 2 2/3 Cup Corn Chex
- 2 2/3 Cup Wheat Chex
- 2 2/3 Cup Rice Chex
- 1 1/2 Cup mixed nuts
- 1 Cup pretzels
- (can also add 1 Cup cheerios and cut back on other cereals)
Heat and mix margarine, worcestershire sauce, Laury’s seasoned salt and garlic powder together thoroughly.
Pour liquid mixture over dry ingredients. Bake 1 hour at 250 degrees, stirring every 15 minutes.

I can smell Christmas coming.
nom nom nom. The best part about homemade Chex Mix is that it’s SO easy to make. Enjoy this mix at your next party.
What’s your favorite holiday snack?

I want more! Chex mix made with your own seasoning is soooo much better than the pre-packed kind!
