I know Mother’s Day was a couple of weeks ago, but I just had to share pictures from our Mother’s day celebration. Some of my favorite lady friends got together to celebrate our mom’s. Besides my mom, these two women have been a constant in my life for many years and I am SO thankful I could celebrate this holiday with them, because after all, we are family. *Allie and Kim – we missed having you with us!
We started with an invitation to our moms via punchbowl, a great online website that sends beautiful digital cards and invites.
We started our day off with a little pampering – mani’s and pedi’s.
After getting a little R&R, we headed to Ramsey’s Metro Market for a little wine tasting and pre-dinner snack. They have a great cheese/cracker platter as well as a great selection of wines. Even more exciting, they had a great two-man band playing live acoustic guitar.
After our wine tasting we headed to one of Mal and my favorite restaurants – Zin’s where we enjoyed dinner at the private Chef’s Table. It’s pretty neat because you have a full access view of the kitchen so you can see everyone hustling and bustling behind the scenes.
So that was our little Mother’s Day. A great way to celebrate these special ladies.
Mom, Kathie, and Nancy – thank you for being a shining example to your daughters. We are all so blessed to have you in our lives and I love each of you very much!
